Things to Do in Washington DC

We know you will enjoy yourself at the Convergence events that we have planned for you, but Washington, DC has a lot more to offer.

There are the National Monuments on the Mall, including the White House, the U.S. Capitol, the Washington Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial and the WWII Memorial, to name a few.

There are also all the great museum that flank the Mall, including such favorites as the Air and Space Museum, the American History Museum, the National Art Gallery, the Natural History and the Museum and the Museum of Arts and Industry.  Other interesting museums on Washington off the Mall are: the Spy Museum, the Newseum, the National Postal Museum and the Holocaust Memorial Museum.

You can do all this on foot or even better with the help of the Tourmobile.  Their American Heritage tour of Washington and Arlington National Cemetery is a narrated shuttle tour along the National Mall and Arlington National Cemetery. Hop on and off from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm daily at the Smithsonian Museums, the Presidential Memorials, White House, and through Arlington National Cemetery. Purchase tickets directly from the driver at any Tourmobile stop or the ticketbooth at Arlington National Cemetery or Union Station.

Check out the links below to get more information and hours of operations for most of these tourist destinations.
